We were absolutely thrilled at the way things went yesterday; the room looked fabulous and the food was just excellent, our family loved it all. Big thanks to you and all the front-of-house and behind-the-scenes staff for attending to our wedding on Saturday. A very special 'thanks' must go to the chef for the absolutely wonderfully presented and delicious food that was prepared for us.

The main salmon and beef dishes were totally wonderful. Everyone I spoke to was so impressed with the quality of the food and thought it of the highest quality. We had a fantastic day.

Hi Emma, now everyone is back to normality after the festivities I would like to take the opportunity to thank and congratulate yourself and the rest of the staff on producing a magnificent occasion for all concerned.

After our initial meeting in which I expressed some concerns ( due to the circumstances ) , I can only apologise for any doubts as they were all completely allayed.

Throughout the day I did not hear one minor grumble from any guest only compliments. The food was absolutely wonderful and the service from the waiting staff was excellent.

You performed your role in putting all the pieces together magnificently so once again thank you and could you please convey our heartfelt thanks to all the staff for their efforts on the day. You all contributed in making the day so very special for all concerned not least myself and my wife.

Hello Jane I am just writing, to let you know how happy I was with my daughters wedding. I mainly dealt with Emma who I must say was amazing, nothing too much trouble how big or small.

On the day of the wedding when I felt the stress I only had to look at Emma and I felt at ease, she was amazing. I also dealt at times with Rachael and Ben and they were also fantastic.

All your staff on the day could not have done more. I have and would recommend you to anyone with full confidence. I have put you forward for an award with the wedding industry awards 2012. Good luck I hope lots of people vote for you.

We loved every second of our wedding, it was a fantastic day, fantastic weather, stunning place and fantastic people.
Everybody was commenting on how wonderful all the staff were, how excellent the food was and how everything was running so smoothly, I can’t thank you all enough!

I just wish the day wouldn’t have gone so fast so we could spend more time there. I will definitely be coming back with my daughter for picnics just to remember the most amazing day.

Thank you Hannah for being a star, you always made me feel calm, and thanks to Emma for sorting out my ever changing numbers for the meal.
The organisation of the day was excellent, every time I rang I could get hold of someone and they were really helpful, we didn’t have to worry about a thing because I knew everything would be fine!

The staff all looked brill and were on the ball with everything, we were never sat for too long without anybody bringing or fetching things. We had the most amazing day, thank you so much!

In particular I would like to mention both Hannah Martin & Jennifer Neal whose friendly and efficient organisation on the day helped us to spend a day which we will never forget and their reaction to a possible crisis which was not their responsibility i.e the non-attendance of our DJ was very impressive. We have no hesitation in recommending Fretwell Downing for their organising & catering for our Granddaughters Wedding. The beautiful parkland surroundings coupled with a beautiful manor house was a superb setting for their wedding. The Food & Bar arrangements were excellent, and the staff from the management team, chef, to the waiters provided excellent service & courtesy. We had been planning our wedding for three years and Whirlowbook Hall and the staff did not disappoint. The food was absolutely fantastic and we received complements from all of our guests who thoroughly enjoyed the venue and the food. We were lucky enough to get married on a beautifully sunny day, but we knew that if the weather had failed us, the team at Whirlowbrook wouldn’t have. The rooms internally are beautiful and very well maintained.

The staff at Whirlowbrook Hall are fantastic – nothing is too much trouble. Your wedding day is the most special day of your life and when you are investing time and money in planning your special day, you want it to live up to your expectations – Whirlowbrook did just that and it was money well spent.

Hannah Martin tended to our every need and nothing was too much trouble for her. Jennifer ensured everything ran like clockwork on the night and David took away the stresses and strains of the timekeeping on the day.

I would definitely recommend Whirlowbrook Hall to anyone considering the venue for your wedding day. The grounds are meticulously maintained, the food is fabulous and the staff, from the waiting staff, to the operations and wedding coordinators, make you feel extremely special. Our day was absolutely amazing and if we were to do it all again, we wouldn’t hesitate to pay Hannah and Jennifer a visit!
